The US SEC filed a counterclaim after Telegram lawyers made a request for the jurisdiction of the New York court in the Gram cryptocurrency case.
In the understanding of the regulator, Telegram wants to find out the jurisdiction of the court in order to withdraw contracts concluded with investors from other countries from the effect of the ban on launching TON. However, they did not take any measures to eliminate the very reason for the ban. In this connection, the SEC appealed to the court with a request to reject the request from the messenger.
